Podem accuses Compromís of blocking the agreement between the purples and Yolanda Díaz

Yolanda Díaz's act continues to generate turbulence in the Valencian left. The Podem candidate for the Generalitat, Héctor Illueca, who was not in Madrid, accused Compromís of blocking an agreement between Sumar and Podemos on Monday. The also vice president of the Consell and a partner of the Valencianists has accused them of not wanting to join Podem in the face of the next regional elections for fear of losing "media support" and complicity with the PSPV.

Illueca has gone further and has denounced that, after the departure of Mónica Oltra from the coalition - she resigned after her imputation in the case of her husband's abuse -, "Compromís is today hegemonized by the most conservative forces." A circumstance that, in her opinion, has blocked an agreement with Podem in the Valencian Community and "they are blocking the possibility of agreeing on a methodology favorable to unity, such as the holding of open primaries."

To support his theory, Illueca has given two examples of the supposedly more conservative position of the coalition. "Those who first came out to defend Juan Roig were Compromís and Joan Baldoví," stressed the aspirant of the purple formation. "Even Mónica Oltra expressed her astonishment with Compromís' position on the 'only yes is yes' law," he concluded.
