As good populists, the Trump team has taken advantage of the news to turn the accusation into an electoral asset in their favor.
On Monday, Trump, who usually resides in Florida, traveled to New York, as yesterday he had to go to hear the indictment of the grand jury. The trip was broadcast live on their social networks and numerous media outlets. “Witch hunt!” he tweeted again in all caps during the transfer. The media, fans and onlookers were waiting for him in front of Trump Tower when he arrived in Manhattan.
