More than 9,000 people have been killed and 32,000 injured in Gaza by Israel's bombardment since the October 7 attack by Hamas, the Gaza Ministry of Health reported yesterday, detailing that 3,760 of the dead are minors

The spokesman for Health, Aixraf al-Qudra, said that, of the 9,061 dead, 2,326 were women, and 135 were health professionals. And he added that 25 ambulances have been destroyed in the strip. Al-Qudra called on "all parties to provide safe passage of medical aid to Gaza urgently" and warned of "a health catastrophe" following the imminence of the interruption of Al hospital's generators. - Xifa, the main medical center in the strip.

The ministry said 16 hospitals have been out of service in Gaza since the start of hostilities due to Israeli shelling and lack of fuel, including the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital, the only one in the strip that treats cancer patients.

Among the bloodiest Israeli attacks are Tuesday and Wednesday's shelling of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, which killed 195 and wounded 777, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

Another of the prominent killings was on October 17, when a projectile hit the Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza, which, according to the same sources, caused nearly 500 deaths. However, the Government of Israel questions this figure, asserts that its forces did not launch a missile against the hospital center and attributes the explosion to a rocket from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

Today marks 27 days since the start of hostilities between Israel and Hamas, with the Islamist group's terrorist attack, which left 1,400 dead, more than 5,400 injured and 242 kidnapped who were taken to Gaza.

Since then, Israel has been bombing the strip, and on Friday it launched a ground offensive that continues to advance towards Gaza City and has triggered heavy clashes in the northern towns of the enclave.

On the other hand, three Palestinians and one Israeli died yesterday in different areas of the West Bank, according to the Ministry of Health of the Palestinian National Authority (ANP) and the Israeli emergency services. The West Bank is suffering from a resurgence of violence and has been the scene of numerous Israeli army operations, abuses by Israeli settlers against the Palestinian population and Palestinian attacks against Israeli settlements and forces.

Since October 7, almost 130 Palestinians have died in the West Bank by Israeli soldiers or settlers, according to the ANP. And since then, nearly 1,900 Palestinians have been detained in the West Bank by Israeli security services, according to the Prisoners' Club, an association that defends the rights of detainees.

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Observatory, based in Geneva, indicated that it "has documented serious abuses and torture" against Palestinian civilians and detainees by the Israeli army in the West Bank. This oenagé disseminated images in which Palestinian civilians from Iatta, in the southern West Bank, were "dragged and attacked by Israeli soldiers". "The Palestinian civilians who appear in the images were stripped and tied hand and foot, and it seems that they were left in the open air for hours," the Observatory stated.
