Guide to watching football on TV

The wait is over. The main football competition in Spain returns with a new name: LaLiga EA Sports, and opens fire today at 7.30 pm with the match Almeria-Rayo Vallecano. It's time to review the platforms on which all football will be broadcast. The so far known as the Men's First Division will be divided into two blocks: LaLiga TV (Movistar, Orange) and DAZN, which will broadcast five matches per day each and the classics will be distributed. The streaming platform will offer the one from the first round, while the teleoperators keep the one from the second.

Movistar also presents a new channel with which it will share one of LaLiga TV's clashes: Movistar Plus. For those who watch pay TV, Gol Play will offer TDT an open match, of teams that do not play in European competition.

The silver category also debuts a name, LaLiga Hypermotion, and presents a simpler division. Movistar Plus and Vamos, both of the blue TV operator, will broadcast one match per day and the promotion playoff, while the other eleven can be seen on the following operators: Movistar, Orange TV, Vodafone, Prime Video, Telecable, MásMóvil , Yoigo, Virgin Telco, Euskaltel, R Galicia, Sweno and Embou.

The third category of Spanish football, Primera RFEF, will be streamed by the video services company ATM Broadcast, with a future linear channel for platforms, in addition to autonomous televisions and a TDT channel to be determined.

Movistar will offer 32 games from the first two rounds of the Copa del Rey, in addition to the round of 16. RTVE will broadcast two matches per round until the quarter-finals, also the semi-finals and the final. The Spanish Super Cup is exclusive to Movistar Plus.

In Europe, Movistar Liga de Campiones will broadcast the Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, Youth League and UEFA SuperCup, leaving Movistar Plus with one match per day of the Champions League. RTVE will broadcast the final of the Champions League, and Cuatro will have one match per day of the Europa League except for the final.

Regarding the rest of the European competitions: Movistar will have access through its Liga de Campeones, Vamos and Plus channels to the Italian Serie A and the three German competitions. DAZN has all the football in England, plus the Italian Cup and Super Cup and the Japanese League. For its part, Eurosport will broadcast the French Ligue 1, while the other major European leagues have been left without a viewing platform.

The US MLS, the league of Leo Messi's Inter Miami, can be seen with the Leagues Cup on Apple TV. OTT LaLiga Plus will have access to the Brasileirão (together with the Fanatiz and OneFootball streaming portals), the Copa Libertadores and the AFC Champions League, the top Asian club competition.
