Fifteen new celebrities get into the kitchen

Fifteen new celebrities get into the kitchens of MasterChef Celebrity, which starts its eighth edition today on La 1 from 10.35pm. This year's protagonists went yesterday to the Vitoria Television Festival to present the new season, in which one of them will have the honor of succeeding Lorena Castell, the last winner of the cooking competition.

Among the fifteen participants of this edition, which continues to have Jordi Cruz, Pepe Rodríguez and Samantha Vallejo-Nágera as judges, there is the extorero Jesulín de Ubrique, the television presenters Toñi Moreno and Tania Llasera, and the two members from the humorous duo Los Morancos, César and Jorge Cadaval.

The actor, screenwriter and director Eduardo Casanova also participate; the Colombian actress Laura Londoño, protagonist of Café con aroma de mujer; actors Jorge Sanz and Miguel Diosdado; the artist and model Palito Dominguín; models Blanca Romero and Sandra Gago; the model and content creator Daniel Illescas; the rider and polo player Álvaro Muñoz Escassi, and the businesswoman Genoveva Casanova.

The celebrities will face the mythical tests, such as robberies, battles or following the chef, and new challenges: prepare an authentic pizza dough using the Italian rolling technique or replicate a typical dish of a other country coinciding with the ingredients that are part of the gastronomic culture there. And there will be no shortage of bingo to cook with the ingredients that are in their cartons.

In the outdoor tests, MasterChef Celebrity travels for the first time to Ceuta to cook at the Parc Marítim de la Mediterrània. In addition, the celebrities will prepare a menu made up of traditional dishes from the Golden Age designed by chef Carlos Maldonado at Puy Du Fou, in Toledo; they will cook for the pilgrims of the Lebaniego Way in San Vicente de la Barquera, and they will visit the palace of the Marquesos of Luján to offer a gastronomic tiberi to the team of the series La promesa. They will also celebrate the return of the musical Mamma mia to Madrid's Gran Vía, visit La Pérgola del Mediterráneo, the restaurant founded by Antonio Banderas, and prepare a sustainable menu, without fire, without grills and without induction.
