Dosrius reissues the governance pact between PSC and JxCat

The municipality of Dosrius (Maresme) has been the first in the region to formalize a government pact for the next term. On this occasion, despite the attempts of ERC, the agreement between the PSC and JxCat has been reissued, which makes it easier for the socialist Sílvia Garrido to renew the mayoralty and for the post-convergent Pere Rovira the first tenure of mayoralty.

Between the two formations they add a majority of seven councilors to govern during the 2023-2027 term. The Constitution Plenary of the new City Council will be held on Saturday, June 17 at 12 noon in the Plenary Hall.

The PSC was the force with the most votes in Dosrius with an increase in votes compared to the previous elections (29.92%) but without increasing the number of representatives. For its part, JxCat increased 1% of the votes but continues with two councilors.

In the opposition will be ERC led by former mayor Marc Bosch de Dòria, who has obtained three councilors, one less than in the previous elections, together with the only representatives of the Alternative Citizen Platform (PAC) and Som de Poble. (SPD).
