The Mossos d'Esquadra have located Sofía on Tuesday, the minor under 15 years of age who has disappeared since February 20.
As confirmed by the agents, the young woman was last seen in the town of Lliçà d'Amunt, in Vallès Oriental (Barcelona). To try to find her, the Catalan police made an appeal through social networks to try to activate citizen collaboration.
The Mossos have appreciated all the help they have received to find the teenager and ensure that citizen collaboration is key in this type of case, especially in matters involving minors.
Last week the agents also asked for help to locate Jéssica, a 17-year-old girl who disappeared in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi. A few days later she appeared safe and sound.
