The thermometers will exceed 20 degrees this Sunday in most of the Spanish provinces and will reach 30 degrees in the cities of Seville, Córdoba and Huelva while it will be cloudy in the north of the peninsula where some weak showers could occur, according to information from the Agency State Meteorology (Aemet).

The maximum temperatures will drop today in the Mediterranean area and will rise in the north of the peninsula. It will exceed 30 degrees in western Andalusia, specifically in Seville, Huelva and Córdoba, while Granada will reach 29 degrees.

In addition, the minimum will rise in the west of the Meseta and Andalusia and will drop in the northern and eastern thirds of the Peninsula, with weak frosts in the Pyrenees and isolated points of Iberia with few changes in the rest of the peninsula.

Cloudy skies will predominate in the Pyrenees and some weak precipitation could be expected, more likely in the early hours, with snow level rising from 1,000 to 1,200 meters and from 1,300 to 1,500 meters throughout the day.

In the north of Galicia, the Cantabrian area, the east of the northern plateau, the upper Ebro and the Iberian system, there will be abundant low clouds in the early hours of the morning, without ruling out some weak precipitation in the surroundings of the upper Ebro.

In the Balearic Islands it will be slightly cloudy while in the Canary Islands there will be intervals of low clouds in the north of the archipelago. There is a probability of morning fog in the interior of the extreme northwest of the peninsula, as well as strong winds in Empurdà, Menorca, the Pyrenees, the lower Ebro and the Strait.
