The first investigations into the accident this Monday on the N-110, in Ceguilla (Segovia), in which a 34-year-old woman and her three children died, indicate that the car in which they were traveling invaded the opposite lane, for reasons which are still unknown, and collided with a truck.

Sources close to the investigation have indicated that this is the main hypothesis about the causes of the accident and that now it will be necessary to determine the reasons why he invaded the opposite lane, whether it was a distraction, a medical illness or another factor.

The deceased came from a Moroccan family and lived in the Segovian town of Riaza. A woman and three children, one 5 years old and two 2-year-old twins. The minors, according to the same sources, were traveling in their corresponding approved seats.

The father of the family, who was not in the vehicle at the time, is receiving psychological help provided by the local council.
