The rains have returned to Catalonia in the midst of a drought episode. In parts of the Pyrenees, rainfall has been abundant, as in the case of Ulldeter, where it has exceeded 50 mm, but in areas of the north of the West it has not even rained, as reported by the Catalan Meteorological Service (Meteocat ). The rains also reached many points along the coast and pre-coastal, locally with some storms.
On the other hand, the showers on Saturday have also been accompanied by strong gusts of wind, especially in Puig Sesolles (75.2 km/h) and Organyà (69.8 km/h).
For today, from the end of the morning, it is expected that the showers will be repeated in points of the Pyrenees, Pre-Pyrenees and in the interior northeast quadrant that during the afternoon will spread to other points in the northern half.
The Meotecat reports that it seems that this episode of instability will persist until Monday, when the anticyclone will return for a few days and the temperature will rise again.
