The leading company in protection services, Securitas Direct, focuses on social work with the creation of the Verisure Foundation in Spain, a new entity that will focus on three groups very present in the company's social activities: childhood and youth from difficult environments, women victims of gender violence or those in social exclusion, and older people who suffer unwanted loneliness.
The Verisure Foundation was created with the objective of becoming a network of connection and protection for the most vulnerable people, focusing on the company's closest communities and acting as promoters of a culture of safety. The foundation will develop its projects under the presidency of Antonio Anguita, Executive President of Securitas Direct, and will work in the following areas.
Securitas Direct has been operating in Spain for more than thirty years and in recent years it has deployed an ESG plan that stems from its reason for being – protection – and in which the social section has acquired a more relevant weight. With the creation of the Verisure Foundation, Securitas Direct plans to generate a social impact in its closest communities.
