The National Police is investigating an alleged sexual assault on a young woman committed by a group of men during the early hours of this Sunday in a well-known nightclub in Puertollano (Ciudad Real).
The body has initiated the protocol for events of this nature, and the hypothesis of a possible group rape between three or four young people is being considered, although no arrests have yet been made, according to police sources confirmed to Europa Press.
The events were recorded around 5:00 a.m. this Sunday in the disco's bathrooms, and the girl had to be treated at the Santa Bárbara Hospital in the industrial city, where she has already been discharged after being examined.
The protocol against crimes of sexual violence was activated after the girl's own complaint to the National Police. The investigation is currently continuing and the police are not ruling out arrests in the next few hours.
