Endesa technicians accompanied by the Mossos d'Esquadra yesterday disconnected the fraudulent electrical connection of an illegally occupied block of flats. In total, they disconnected ten irregular connections to the electrical supply, which according to the company posed a real danger to safety.

The Endesa company proceeded yesterday morning to disable the fraudulent connections that a group of illegal squatters had made in the block of flats at 27 Enric Granados Street, it is a house with a ground floor and two floors, which all had the punctured light. Technicians disconnected up to 10 fraudulent hookups.

The case of the occupied block is in a Mataró court and the connections have been recorded in a file since 2015. On several occasions the supply has been cut off, but the squatters reconnected again.
