Déborah Fernández case (II): a summary gnawed by errors

The investigation into the disappearance and death of the 21-year-old Déborah Fernández-Cervera has been open for 20 years. The proceedings for the case of this young woman from Vigo who disappeared in 2002 have undergone continuous files and reopenings: a judicial odyssey. Only the tenacity of the family of the deceased and her lawyers has prevented the summary from completely prescribing. They denounce that the investigation has been plagued with errors and gaps that have prevented the investigations from advancing.

Now, after two decades and in extremis, a man has been officially investigated – what was previously the accused figure; It is about a character who was very close to Déborah and who always appeared in the spotlight of the investigators as the main suspect, but who, nevertheless, never testified before the judge.
