A 17-year-old girl struggles to recover after surviving a fall from the seventh floor in the Oviedo neighborhood of Buenavista. As confirmed by police sources, last Sunday morning, a minor rushed into a vehicle parked on Flórez street in the town of Oviedo with the intention of committing suicide.
The emergency services received a call from the neighbors alerting them to the situation and were able to transfer the young woman to the HUCA health complex. Despite the severity of the impact, the minor was conscious but with several broken bones and internal bleeding that endangered her life.
Although the incident occurred in the wee hours of the morning, it caused quite an uproar among the community. "We heard a blow and then we saw movement of ambulances and the National Police, but we did not know what was happening," said a neighbor from the same street. In addition, "they were surprised that the girl was still conscious after suffering such a serious fall," research sources indicate.
National Police sources continue to investigate the case, everything points to the fact that the young woman rushed intentionally by warning of suicide attempts. At the moment, the evolution of the minor's state of health is uncertain.
