A 47-year-old man was arrested this afternoon accused of killing his roommate, another 54-year-old man, with a blow to the head in a home in Torrevieja (Alicante).
The events occurred this morning and it was the alleged perpetrator who, around 2.30 am this morning, notified the Civil Guard of the man's death.
The victim would have died from a blow to the head and, it seems, there would have been a previous argument between the victim and the suspect.
According to the accused's version, he would have found the deceased body of his partner when he returned home. However, when the patrol went to the home and carried out the first visual inspection, they found contradictions in the man's version. The accused has not yet been brought to justice.
