They went for the girl and male triplets were born: this is the new life of this family of seven from Zamora

Héctor and Arantxa were clear that they wanted to give their little Mateo and Pablo a sister, but something surprising upset the family's plans: instead of a girl they had triplets, completely changing the life of this popular couple from Zamora.

Overnight, this family has gone from comfortably raising their two children, ages six and four, to the madness of taking care of five children, three of them newborns. After suffering several miscarriages, the family has welcomed Hugo, Adrián and Raúl, whose arrival makes her a special case of self-improvement that has revolutionized Instagram.

According to La Voz de Galicia, Arantxa and Héctor wanted to start a family with three children. Unfortunately, Arantxa suffered an ectopic pregnancy which meant that her first baby did not carry on. After six months of recovery, she got pregnant again without any problem, and shortly before giving birth she decided to break with gender roles by proposing to Héctor on New Year's Eve 2016. The couple went down the aisle in August 2017, with little Mateo present.

At that time, the guard and the administration of the Junta de Castilla y León lived in Valladolid without worries, when life decided to surprise them again. With a nine-month-old baby in their care, the couple discovered that they would be parents again. Héctor reveals: "We wanted children, but the truth is that at that moment we were upset, they were going to take a very, very short time and we did not expect it." This is how Pablo was born, who has only been with his older brother for 18 months.

This new addition to the family did not hinder Héctor and Arantxa, who knew how to manage the situation without family help. After several years, the couple decided that it was time to fulfill a dream: to give their children a sister; however, the situation took an unexpected turn: “In the 10th week of pregnancy they told us that the baby had no heartbeat. They gave her some abortion pills at home, she suffered some contractions and did not have to be admitted, but it was traumatic and painful for Arantxa; For her it was like a small birth.”

This unfortunate and sad incident did not stop the couple, who managed to get pregnant again after Arantxa's recovery: "As we already had two bad experiences, we put ourselves in the hands of the doctors and, as it was a high-risk pregnancy, we decided to have a DNA test. That's when we found out that this time the girl was on the way. And we named her after her: Emma, ”reveals Héctor.

Everything seemed normal, but after moving to Zamora for work reasons, the couple received the worst news: little Emma had no heartbeat. Héctor likens the situation to an emotional 'blow', stating: “At that time we were still in a pandemic and they did not let me be with her at the check-up. They called me right away and explained to me that Arantxa had to go through a hospital delivery. It was very painful. She was already twenty weeks: oxytocin, contractions ... Emma was stillborn ”.

Regarding Mateo and Pablo, they always knew what was happening: “We didn't hide anything from the children, we told them the truth. That they had a little sister and that she had died. The complex situation the family was going through made them consider having a foster child at home: "It was also a way of teaching our children that they can help another." However, fate awaited something that the couple never saw coming.

Surprisingly, Arantxa had managed to get pregnant again. Initially, the ultrasounds showed two bags, but shortly after the couple witnessed a miracle: "I will never forget the gynecologist's face when she told us that one bag was visible, but that the other bag was they saw two. triplets were coming!" reveals Hector.

The pregnancy was complicated, causing Arantxa to take sick leave in week 16 due to nausea, tachycardia, dizziness and anemia. Fortunately, the couple, along with Mateo and Pablo, welcomed the triplets on January 5, after a scheduled C-section. But the concerns did not end there. Little Adrián had to be intubated after suffering a risky pneumothorax on the left side of his lungs, hovering between life and death in the ICU for 17 days.

Currently, everything is going smoothly for the Zamora family. The triplets are in good health, and the couple has managed to organize themselves to care for the babies: they take turns at night (one sleeps often and the other takes care of the newborns) or they share the early morning (one sleeps a good stretch at first , and the other the next). Through their Instagram @Aventurascontrillizos Héctor and Arantxa show what the day-to-day life of their peculiar family is like, making it clear that they do not intend to go after the girl again.
