The surprising emotion of a dog when watching 'The Lion King'

Disney has been breaking hearts for decades. From Bambi's mother to Ellie in "Up," Mickey Mouse's empire has delivered some truly heartbreaking scenes that bring the viewer to tears, as is the case with The Lion King.

The Disney classic has made children and adults cry, and now dogs too. This week a viral TikTok video featured Bosco, a canine who hasn't been immune to the sad scene where Mufasa dies.

Seeing how Mufasa is betrayed by Scar while trying to save his son is no easy task. That scene in which Simba pitifully tries to wake up his father, lying under his paw one last time has broken the hearts of more than one.

The same was the case with Zoe Ansary's pet, who recorded her dog Bosco while watching the tragic moment in the film. The tiktoker has revealed that her dog was moved by the same scene as her when she was four years old, so that later they say that dogs do not look like her owners.

The owner has mentioned that Bosco is a rescue puppy, something that many treat as a possible reasoning behind the emotional intelligence of the dog, since rescue dogs are incredibly intelligent and could sense the sadness of the characters.

In a matter of days, the video has gone viral on TikTok, accumulating more than 20 million views and all kinds of reactions from users who have been moved to see the scene: "He is so sweet and intelligent" or "We ALL cried in the same part regardless of age or species”, have been some of the most popular comments.
