Thanks to the various surveys carried out among its members, the organization of consumers and users is clear: the best fish in Spain is found mainly in Galicia, if we are talking about supermarkets.
A surprising 70% of OCU members buy fish at Gadis supermarkets, a company based in Galicia with more than 200 establishments spread throughout both its own community and throughout Castilla y León.
In addition to Gadis supermarkets, there are some companies highly valued by OCU users when it comes to fish: Costco, Esclat, El Corte Inglés, Hipercor, Plusfresc, HiperUsera and BM.
This data demonstrates once again that the supermarkets that stand out for their quality tend to be regional chains, since it is common for the top positions in the OCU tables to be headed by this type of business.
