The Empremtes festival enters its third edition with Celtas Cortos, Blaumut and Las Migas

The mix of new artists and established numbers at the Empremtes festival takes a step further in its third edition, expanding to larger spaces such as the Razzmatazz or the Wolf room to host a cast of artists who arrive with new material under their belt, such as Marina Rossell, Celtas Cortos or Las Migas, or celebrate their musical career, in the case of Marwan, Mazoni or Blaumut.

More than 20 concerts that do not forget the new proposals such as those of Carolina Alabau or Ízaro in a musical cycle that will last until next April, and that will begin next Friday the 12th in room 2 of Apolo with an evening to benefit the NGO Terra House. Paula Valls, Magalí Sare and eight other artists will raise funds to help the children of Nepal.

Signature music will once again be the protagonist with shows such as 300 crits, Marina Rossell's album and tribute to Georges Moustaki on the tenth anniversary of the singer-songwriter's death (February 3). Or Roger Mas, who will present El viatge (April 13), a 30-minute piece that he has not yet recorded, and that will be accompanied by pieces from all his periods. Carolina Alabau will also bring new material (January 20), a beautiful voice who will exclusively present her fourth album, A phrase imagined again by producer Javier Limón. Or Marwan, who will open the concert series (April 19) to celebrate his 20-year career. Others who will bring a premiere album are the Manresa duo Jo Jet

Las Migas will also present new material (April 5), with 20 years already behind them, or the Galician singer-songwriter Luis Fercán, who will present his second album at the Luz de Gas room (April 6). Although perhaps the most anticipated premiere will be that of Celtas Cortos, the Pucelana folk group that will close the festival on April 27 with a concert in the large Razzmatazz room where they will present their new album, the first they have released since 2018.

Before April 20 rings, a large representation of long-standing artists with their own voice will have passed through the festival, such as Blaumut (February 1), Mazoni (February 24) or La bien querida (February 10), who will accompany voices new ones like that of Núria Duran (March 15), finalist of the Sona9 contest who will present the songs from her first album. You can also see Carla Collado (March 16), a young artist from Baix Llobregat who will present her second album, or Montse Blanco (March 17), still without an album, who will celebrate her first concert within the Emprentes festival to present the songs that he has composed the last five years.

And the list continues with the San Sebastian Izaro (February 9), the happy and daring lyrics of Antílopez (February 23), the intimacy of Guillem Roma (March 9) or the festive music of Funambulista (April 19), variety musical to leave its mark on all audiences.
