Dogs usually enjoy a good soak, regardless of whether they are in a pool or on the beach. However, not all furry people are fond of water. On the contrary, they will do anything so that their paws do not have to get wet. In these cases, there is no one to convince them and they are even capable of letting the water take away their favorite toy.
It is difficult to change that dynamic when the dog is of a certain age. However, Nemo, a friendly golden retriever, seems to be the exception to the rule.
In a video published on TikTok, its owners explain that the furry dog is terrified of water. However, everything changed one day when they went to a dog park. There was a lake there. And it just so happened that his ball fell inside him. There was no other option but to try to rescue her, although it was not an easy task.
The golden retriever approaches the lake on several occasions, but does not dare to put more than one paw in. He is very nervous and even his paws are shaking. Another furry animal, Chewbacca, came to his rescue. His friend not only caught the ball, but also encouraged the dog to get into the lake.
Despite his initial misgivings, Nemo did not stop moving forward. He went in and out of the water, but each time he went further, until he ended up submerging his entire body. And so, unexpectedly, he began to swim.
“I have never seen a dog teach another to swim,” says a user of this social network. “Chewbacca should charge for his swimming lessons,” jokes another. And most agree: “The best I've ever seen.”
