The bullet had passed through the thigh and exited through the groin. It looked like it was a clean wound, with an entrance and an exit, but that wasn't all. Veterinarians at Dr. Stutz Veterinary Clinic discovered something more troubling: the gunpowder had burned Luck's urethral canal, leaving the tissue damaged and necrotic. He then began a race against time to save Luck.
In the following 30 days, the Golden Retriever became a regular patient at the clinic and underwent three difficult surgeries, with the financial burden that this placed on his family. Luck's owners, facing a mountain of medical bills, decided to ask for help.
In this way, they told the story of their dog on social networks. The response from users was something to be proud of. People from all over showed their support, donating what they could to help Luck.
