In La Peña, a neighborhood belonging to two different municipalities, Arrigorriaga and Bilbao, Milka, a fifteen-month-old chocolate-colored dachshund, disappeared. As shared by the human responsible for the dachshund, Nerea Paz, in a story on her Instagram account, the dog disappeared last Sunday while playing in a neighborhood square.
While he was playing, another furry animal approached and tried to attack him and Milka fled. In statements collected by El Correo, Nerea Paz described the dachshund as a “scary” dog. She explained that the dog was wearing a pink collar and a bone tag with the contact information of his human handlers at the time of his disappearance.
"We continue searching. He got lost when I was not in Bilbao. I was with my parents and they even searched the areas of the train tracks looking for him," he added.
With the aim of encouraging community collaboration, Nerea Paz has offered a reward of 1,000 euros to anyone who manages to find the whereabouts of 'Milka'. In addition, posters have been distributed in the area with relevant information and the contact number: 637 03 07 70.
Despite their efforts, there has been no luck so far. "She hasn't called anyone yet, let's hope for luck," says Paz, maintaining the hope of being reunited with her beloved four-legged companion soon.
