A video posted by the animal-focused Twitter account, @dodo, has gone viral due to its emotional charge, giving an abandoned dog a second chance.
Selina was on a Bali beach when she met Hank, an abandoned dog who was on the street. Everyone passed him by, or whoever saw him used to laugh at him, because of his curious appearance similar to a small lion.
Selina noticed that Hank was walking aimlessly, not having much energy and trying to drink and eat in whatever way he could. She herself bought him food and gave him water so that she could gather strength, because she saw him exhausted.
However, the first approach was not as planned. Hank was reluctant and even tried to bite him, showing that in the past he had not had a good time with humans.
Shortly after, Selina decided to call a specialist to catch him so she could take him to a vet for a thorough checkup. Hank was very scared but a lot of barking started to relax on the way to the vet.
Once at the vet, Hank was shaved and examined, to proceed to give him a treatment that would end the parasites on his skin.
His recovery went well and soon after he began to get better and over time his personality changed and he became more affectionate and even played with other dogs. In addition, his appearance was improving and he ate more and ate better, confirming that little Hank just needed someone to help him to start living again.
