Menorca Music Festival announces lineup with Amaia, Crystal fighters and Pablo López

The second edition of the Menorca Music Festival has begun to warm up with the announcement of the first artists who will play their music in the town of Es Mercadal, taking the summer festivals that take place on the peninsula as a reference. Amaia, Crystal Fighters, Tom Odell, Vanesa Martín and Pablo López will be the stars of the show that will be held in the central town of the island whose tickets go on sale at noon this Tuesday.

The festival, which has promised to make its operation compatible with respect for the environment, will begin on August 4 with a performance by Amaia from Pamplona, who will arrive with the album presentation tour When I don't know who I am and a style that it distances itself from that innocent image with which it became known in Operación Triunfo. Two days later it will be the turn of the Anglo-Spanish Crystal fighters, who will make the attendees dance with their rhythms influenced by Basque folklore, which has led them to mix traditional instruments such as the txalaparta or the txistu with the sound of synthesizers.

From the United Kingdom comes the festival's third proposal, Tom Odell, who will perform on August 7 with songs from his fifth album, Best day of my life, where accompanied only by his piano, he navigates topics such as family, anxiety, the love or despair with his intimate style. A day later it will be the turn of Vanesa Martín from Malaga, who will take the stage to present Placeres y pecados, her latest album made with the collaboration of producers such as Julio Reyes, Tato Latorre, Victor Martínez or MercaderLab.

The closing of the festival, on August 11, will correspond to Pablo López, who will arrive in Menorca with the tour that starts this coming May where he will review his greatest hits seasoned by the single Quasi, the latest work by the renowned musician and composer, also known for his jury work in the program La Voz.

As in the previous edition, the festival will have a Village space at its location in the Firal des Mercadal Venue, which will in turn have a stage for acoustic concerts that will entertain the moments before each performance.
