Last hours to register for the Berlin Philharmonic ticket raffle

This Monday the 24th, the Sagrada Família is raffling off the 700 double tickets that it is making available to the public to attend the Berlin Philharmonic concert. In fact, it is about a hundred for May 1 itself (10:45 a.m.), the date on which the German orchestra will celebrate its special annual performance in an emblematic space on the planet. The other six hundred double seats correspond to the rehearsal open to the public, on April 30, at 5:45 p.m.

A form is available until 10 a.m. on Monday on the Sagrada Família website and on its social networks. In it you must indicate for which of the two functions you choose to get tickets. Winners will receive an email with instructions on how to enjoy the prize.

The Berliner Philharmoniker, the most notable orchestral group in the world, will offer for the first time at the Sagrada Família this European Concert, which since 1991 has offered every 1st of May to commemorate the founding of the orchestra, when in 1882 it was born as an independent musical association. A year that is also the start of the construction project for Gaudí's basilica.

This landmark concert is held each year in a different European city, at historically significant venues that symbolize cultural successes or exceptional monuments. And the event is broadcast on television to more than 30 countries around the world.

The head of the formation, the Russian Kirill Petrenko, will direct this performance with Mozart's Coronation Mass. Louise Alder, Wiebke Lehmkuhl, Mauro Peter and Krešimir Stražanac will be the soloists, who will be accompanied by the Orfeó Català. Barcelona will be the first stop on his international tour. On the 2nd he will stop at the Palau de la Música Catalana with the Symphony no. 25 by Mozart and his Exsultate Jubilate. The Schumann Room will close the program.
