How to make wheat flour tortillas, a Mexican recipe

Tortillas for burritos or fajitas are part of Mexican cuisine, and making them at home is very easy and quick. In the recipe we propose we do not use oil, butter, or egg, and if you want you can use whole wheat flour.

> 100 grams of wheat flour

> 50 milliliters of warm water

> 2 grams of salt

1. In a bowl, mix the flour with the salt.

2. Add the water and mix until you obtain a homogeneous mass.

3. Take the dough out of the bowl, and continue kneading on a smooth surface.

4. Divide the dough into 50 gram portions and shape them into a ball.

5. Using a rolling pin, roll out each ball.

6. Heat a frying pan over high heat.

7. Put a tortilla in the pan and when the edges begin to rise, turn it over. When you see bubbles coming out it will be ready.

8. Repeat the operation with the rest of the tortillas, and reserve those that are ready wrapped in a cotton cloth.
