Discover the hidden function of the butcher's paper and hallucinate: "I don't know if I have discovered America"

Despite the fact that more and more consumers take a lunch box from home to butchers and fishmongers (since the beginning of the year this practice has also been allowed at supermarket stands in Spain), there is an element that does not disappear from these stalls: laminated paper. This basic for preserving food is used in practically all stores, but few know about its hidden function, which has just been revealed by the tiktoker @andrees.gr.

"Right now I'm freaking out," this young man begins by saying in the video after returning from the butcher shop. "I have discovered that these papers have a plastic so that you can separate it and wrap the meat. You don't have to spend plastic wrap, it comes with it," he reveals.

As the video shows, this plastic can be separated from the rest of the paper by pulling on one of the ends. In this way, it comes off easily and we can wrap the product with it. The meat will be twice as protected, both by the paper and by this hidden film, and it will be more difficult for it to oxidize.

This tiktoker is not the only one surprised by this finding, you just have to look at the comments. "I just freaked out", "A great step for man, without a doubt", "I didn't know, thank you dear", "But what a blessing" and "Good idea", are some of the responses that this publication has accumulated for the moment, which They have viewed about 350,000 people.

Others take the opportunity to comment that this is not its true use, but that this plastic is used so that the paper on which it is adhered does not get wet and break due to being in contact with the liquid of the meat. "It's not exactly that, but a nice trick," they tell him anyway.

On TikTok, hacks like this are very popular content. Just a few days ago, the trick to cook two pizzas at the same time in the same oven tray has also gone viral.
