A red dress and an emblematic pose. Cara Delevingne has brought Hollywood glamor back to the red carpet of the 95th Academy Awards in a stunning red Elie Saab Couture suit from the fall/winter 2021 collection.
The British model and actress, in charge of delivering one of the awards at the gala hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, paid tribute to one of the most historic poses of the awards on the red carpet with a "leg moment" a la Angelina Jolie .
Delevingne came in a large dress with an asymmetrical neckline crowned by a large puffed flower and a very voluminous skirt that had a large side opening that accentuated her long leg. A look she completed with a low bun with a side part, earth-toned makeup and Bulgari jewelry.
The British pose, as well as the chosen look, inevitably brought back the night of the Oscars in 2012 when Angelina Jolie appeared in an elegant and sensual black strapless dress by Atelier Versace. The actress's pose went viral for the "leg moment" on the red carpet, one that many celebrities have imitated in all editions.
This is Delevingne's return to the public sphere after openly confessing that she entered a detoxification center for her drug abuse. The 30-year-old confessed in an interview published in Vogue that after publishing some photographs captured by a paparazzi in Los Angeles, where she was seen looking very emaciated, she saw that she had hit rock bottom.
"I had not slept. It's heartbreaking because I thought I was having fun, but when I saw the photos, I realized that I didn't look good at all. Sometimes you need a reality check."
