The rise in olive oil prices does not let up in our country. According to data from the INE, the price of olive oil has increased by 38.8% in the last year, although in the case of extra virgin, the highest quality, the increase exceeds 227%.
Currently, a liter of extra virgin is sold for more than ten euros, an unthinkable value for one of the kitchen staples. However, Karlos Arguiñano seems not to be very concerned.
The chef was making one of his recipes during his television show, Cocina Abierta, when he decided to make his own sauce. Bottle of oil in hand, the chef began to pour the contents into the blender without fear, something that has caught the attention of users.
