A family laughs at not having "personal space" when having a huge Saint Bernard at home: "why do they have a horse?"

Living with a dog is not a game. Not only is it necessary to have mandatory civil liability insurance and comply with all the obligations detailed in the Animal Protection Law, in the case of Spain, but you also have to give it the care it needs: taking it for a walk, giving it eat, etc.

Although it is important that pets have enough space, sometimes their owners are not aware of the size they can reach and take it with humor. This is the case of a Canadian family, who has shown on TikTok how they deal with their lack of “personal space” by living with a Saint Bernard, and which has generated comments such as “why do they have a horse?”

The video shows the enormous Saint Bernard as he approaches his owner who stares at him dumbfounded. He points out that in the image the dog is much larger than the man sitting on the couch. Then the dog puts his paw on Joanne, her owner, and the dog returns to the owner to lick him and rests his head on the man's chest.

The video has accumulated more than 2 million views and has more than 1,300 comments. Those who follow the touch of humor of the video's author, Joanne, and those who point out how adorable the dog is stand out. “There is a third sofa just for him,” says a TikToker. “Why do they live with a horse?” asks an Internet user. “How beautiful he is,” adds another user, who is followed by dozens of messages highlighting how “adorable” this Saint Bernard is.

A Saint Bernard is a large, strong breed of dog, whose appearance is friendly and peaceful. Originally from the Swiss Alps and northern Italy, this breed of dog can weigh between 63 and 81 kilos in the case of males, between 54 and 63 kilos in the case of females. Your height may vary depending on your gender. Males are usually taller than females, measuring between 70 and 75 centimeters and between 65 and 70 centimeters, respectively.
