A baby elephant has fun chasing a group of birds and touches the nets

Good night animal family! It is not only humans who look for moments of recreation and joy to fight boredom. Just like small children, who explore the world with curiosity and naivety, animals also have their own way of having fun.

A charming example of this is offered by a viral video published by The Dodo, which captures a tender and funny moment starring a baby elephant. In a nature reserve, home to several herbivorous animals, this little elephant stars in a scene in which he shows how he doesn't get bored.

While the other animals, including an adult elephant who appears to be its mother, went about their daily activities, mainly eating, the little elephant decides it has other plans. Ignoring the grass, he opts for a more exciting mission: chasing a flock of birds that were resting in the same space.

The group of birds, surprised by their enthusiastic pursuer, begins to run. The little elephant, determined, follows them, spinning in circles in an attempt to catch them. However, the number of moving targets confuses him, causing him to lose his balance. By the time the little boy finally decides which group to follow, he definitely ends up stumbling.

Despite the small setback, the little elephant does not give up easily. But, like any child after a failed attempt, he seeks comfort in his protective figure. So he does not hesitate to address the adult elephant, who welcomes him with her trunk, in a gesture of support and affection that melts the heart of anyone who sees it.

The reaction of users to the viral video of the baby elephant chasing birds has been overwhelmingly positive, filling the various social networks with comments full of affection for this clumsy little elephant.

Users have been especially moved by the scene in which the little elephant, after a failed attempt to catch the birds, runs to his mother in search of comfort: "The way he runs to his mom and she is already walking up to him.... really melts my heart."

Furthermore, this endearing incident has led many to reflect on the similarities between the offspring of different species, including humans. "I love that all the people have chased birds, they have personalities so similar to ours."
