Ana Obregón has surprised everyone by being a mother again at the age of 68 through surrogacy. The magazine HELLO! captured the moment in which the actress and presenter left the Miami hospital with her new daughter, whom she has named Ana.
The announcement of this unexpected motherhood has reopened the debate in Spain on surrogacy. But it has also raised another question: who is the father of Obregón's daughter?
One of the main rumors, although unconfirmed, is that the sperm donor would have been Aless Lequio, the son of Obregón and Alessandro Lequio. The entrepreneur died at only 27 years of age from cancer in 2020, so his frozen sperm could have been used to fertilize a surrogate mother's egg. However, this point has not yet been confirmed.
From Europa Press they have asked Susana Uribarri, representative and best friend of Ana Obregón, about the identity of the donor. And she has been clear: "I have no idea, I had no idea about this, imagine about the other."
Obregón's friend has assured that the baby "is wonderful and precious" although she does not know if she will travel to Miami to be with them at this moment of joy for the family. In this sense, she has assured that Obregón has recovered her happiness: "She has a face that shines, her eyes shine, I think she has come back to life and for me that is the most important thing."
In addition, she has assured that she was not the mole who would have leaked the information to the magazine to capture the moment of her discharge from the hospital, since she did not even know about the maternity plans of her client: "I know that I did not I knew and I'm glad I didn't, I enjoy coming home and putting the camera on and looking at it."
