Peldanyos has given the big surprise in the third edition of the TikTok Awards, which this Wednesday recognized the creativity, diversity and talent of the Spanish community on this platform. The Valencian has won the award for TikTok Star of the Year, unseating Lola Lolita, who had achieved this recognition in the last edition.
"I was competing against titans and they all deserved it," explained a surprised Peldanyos when collecting the award. The influencer has taken the opportunity to thank his family, partner and community for the support over the years, which faithfully follows him. And there has also been a special mention to his dog (who died a few months ago).
It has been difficult for Peldanyos to assimilate the award. "Impossible without you. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I really appreciate and value the support you give me every day. I owe you all a meal, I'll see how I organize it," he explained on his Instagram account after his award as the best tiktoker of the year.
Sergio Bolaños has gained popularity on TikTok thanks to his videos about food. This engineer by profession began creating content in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic. He started on YouTube, but would soon move on to other social networks. His popularity skyrocketed in 2022. Since then, he has been professionally dedicated to the craft.
Peldanyos visits restaurants and supermarkets around the world, looking for foods or dishes worth trying. He records the entire process and gives his final verdict, expected by his community of almost two million followers on the platform.
His followers have not hesitated to celebrate the award. "We are very proud of you. You deserved it," comments one. Others claim that they have followed him for a long time and that "he deserved it." There are even some who explain that it is their example to follow. "You are the king," says another user.
The driver and double Formula 1 world champion Fernando Alonso emerged as the winner in the outstanding category of Public Figure of the Year. "I wanted to thank the entertainment platform like TikTok for the award and it makes me very happy to receive this award," the Asturian explained in a video.
In the Artist of the Year category, the winner was Quevedo. Regarding the Videopodcast, the winners were Carlos and Mariang for La Pija y la Quinqui, a podcast attended by personalities of the caliber of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez.
