Who is Diego Arroyo, lead singer of the group Veintiuno?

Veintiuno is an emerging rock band from Toledo formed by Diego Arroyo (vocals), Pepe Narváez (drums), Yago Banet (bass) and Jaime Summers (guitar). Despite the fact that the group started working in 2011, their lives changed in 2015, when they signed with the international record company Warner Music.

Now, Diego Arroyo, the singer and leader of the group, rises to fame on the small screen by becoming one of the most surprising guests on the television program Tu cara me suena. The man from Toledo is in charge of composing the lyrics and in addition to providing his voice, he also sometimes plays the guitar and the piano.

Veintiuno is committed to an epic rock sound without labels and plenty of muscle. The formation cites groups like Bastille and Imagine Dragons as influences in aspects as powerful as percussion, but also other references as different as the Motown sound of the eighties.

The band debuted in 2015 with their first album Nada Parecido, but it was in 2018 with Gourmet that they made the big commercial leap. In fact, currently all the songs on this album have almost eleven million plays on Spotify. Without going any further, the main success of the group, 'Dopamine', is included in this work.

In 2020, Veintiuno returned to the face with their third album, Corazonada, whose promotion and tour were interrupted by the pandemic, which forced them to cancel up to 40 committed concerts. Despite this, the training did not stop and in 2021 confirmed its good moment with a reissue titled Corazones.

Now the group has just finished the recording process for their new album El Arte de Perder, so their fans will soon be able to enjoy new music from the band from Toledo.
