Victoria Federica is sincere in her first interview: “I feel caged”

The third season of A Solas, Vicky Martín Berrocal's successful podcast, has begun with an exceptional guest, and no one expected Victoria Federica de Marichalar, the daughter of Infanta Elena, to sit on her couch. A surprise for the followers of the designer from Huelva, that she has obtained the first interview before the cameras of the niece of the Kings of Spain.

An interview in which the young influencer opened up, among other things, about what it was like to grow up in her royal family, the fame she has had to endure and the media pressure that comes with being the granddaughter of the emeritus kings. A burden that she is still forced to face, despite having chosen a media-facing job; but so even she has had to do therapy.

If there is something that Infanta Elena's daughter is grateful for, it is having been born into the family of the Kings of Spain. “I believe that more than a title I inherit the values that my family has given me,” reflects Victoria Federica, who can be seen much more relaxed in front of the media.

“I feel super lucky for the family I was born into. They are my home, they are my house, they are the most. "I wouldn't change it for the world."

“I have learned something good from everyone. From my grandparents, from my parents, from my uncles, from my cousins... I learn values and when we get together it's like we all learn,” she insists. Some values that he values, above all, respect and education.

Another issue is the media focus associated with being born associated with the Crown. The pressure has been on her since Infanta Elena and Jaime de Marichalar welcomed her second daughter, and she has not always handled it well. “There are times when I do feel caged,” confesses the young woman, who regrets that so much uncertain news about her is published. “There are many headlines that are not true, many that are invented and those in the end are the ones that really affect.”

“I go out on the street with a friend and he is now my boyfriend. When I'm having dinner with a friend, I'm more aware of whether they're going to take a photo of me than of the dinner, because they're going to say that he's my boyfriend," she protests, assuring that going out with friends has already become an extra moment of worry. .

His favorite person, as it could not be otherwise, is his brother Froilán, whom he loves dearly. The young woman tells Vicky Martín Berrocal that Infanta Elena's first-born is her “best friend” and her “vitamin person,” who makes her relax and be herself.

“He is my best friend, he is a vitamin person. When I'm with him, I forget everything and say I'm going to enjoy him. He makes my day. We talk a lot. When we talk on the phone we can spend hours,” he says.

Regarding the concept that people may have of her, Victoria Federica assures that it has nothing to do with how she really is. “There are people who think that I am very forward, but, in reality, that is not at all because I am the shyest aunt in the world, I am super shy, it is very difficult for me to open up to people. “It's a little difficult for me to trust people,” she insisted, because she is cautious of those who approach “out of interest.”

Something he does believe in, however, is love. At 23 years old, she is one of those who believes in love for life. Of course, she doesn't give her heart the first time. “I don't fall in love easily.” First are her goals and her personal well-being, since her success is “being good with myself.”
