The Treasury will notify Alejandro Sanz at the next Latin Grammys in Seville that he has to pay his debt

Alejandro Sanz is not going through his best moment. This past weekend the news broke that the famous singer had been declared in rebellion by the Madrid justice system due to a million-dollar debt that he carries for his properties in Miami. A situation where he could end up with all of his assets confiscated from him.

Everything would go back to 2021, when the Miami court sentenced the Spanish artist to pay a debt of three million euros, due to several loans that the artist requested to buy luxurious properties in Miami, operations that were carried out through his companies. , Alkazul S.L., Gazul Producciones S.L.U. and Music on Wheels.

Now, the Spanish justice system seeks to execute the sentence handed down by the Miami court. But the impossibility of notifying Sanz of this situation has caused the courts to declare him in default, which could mean the seizure of all of his assets.

This same Monday, journalist Beatriz Miranda revealed several news about the case on the Sonsoles Ónega program. The collaborator explained that the singer bought a luxurious mansion and three apartments in Miami in 2019. To do this, he decided to request a mortgage loan from an investment fund. ''As in the end he cannot bear the expenses, he sells the apartments and has three million left to pay. Now this investment fund is demanding it,' she commented.

''A Miami judge has sentenced him to pay those three million and he is playing catch-up and is not receiving that notification,'' he declared. After explaining the matter in detail, the journalist exclusively revealed that the singer will be notified very soon. ''This investment fund is going to use the Latin Grammy Awards that are held on November 16 in Seville to notify you there and bring you the burofax or whatever,'' she assured. ''He's not going to show up because of you,'' declared Lorena Vázquez.

Despite having a tax domicile in our territory, the justice system had not been able to deliver that notification. ''They are going to take advantage of this gala as a last resort, in which Alejandro Sanz's presence is announced and they will surely reward him,'' he detailed. ''It is an enigma why he cannot pay the debt,'' the journalist added. ''Even if he avoids the debt, he is going to have to pay it,'' said Paloma García-Pelayo.
