The surreal experience of Miguel Ríos at a gas station under the influence of amphetamines

After listening to Miguel Ángel Revilla sing at its premiere, the second installment of La Última Noche, a new Friday program on Telecinco, has had the presence of Miguel Ríos, who has reviewed with Sandra Barneda his legendary career as a myth of Spanish rock.

In addition, the man from Granada has presented his new tour "Rock

Now, the high point of the interview was when, after the appearance of the painter and friend of singer-songwriter Juan Vida, Miguel Ríos explained a hilarious anecdote from his youth.

The story occurred around 1972, when the Andalusian singer-songwriter toured the entire peninsula. At the time, his band's schedule was so tight that the musicians and support crew were forced to make long road trips overnight. "We played and we had to go to do 1,000 kilometers," explained the rocker.

According to Miguel Ríos himself, at that time it was common for the members of the expedition to consume “small amphetamines” to be able to stay awake. On one of those trips, the team decided to stop at a gas station located in a remote part of Extremadura.

Once there, Miguel Ríos began to hear voices. “I heard Miguel, Migueeel”, the veteran artist has described. At one point, the singer-songwriter got angry and reproached his musicians for hesitating him.

However, nothing is further from reality. "You can see that there was a ram truck behind the gas station... and I was angry with my musicians," Ríos confessed with a laugh.

Surprised by the story, Sandra Barneda has asked the singer-songwriter how the life of "sex, drugs and rock and roll" can be made compatible. Puzzled by the question, Miguel Ríos has responded with a simple. "You don't have to be a singer for that, just if you know how to dance rock

Finally, the singer has recognized that with age his way of life has changed. "There are many things that you have to leave by prescription, I don't know which of the three things", he has sentenced in a humorous tone.
