A new week begins in the love program. First Dates has opened its doors for several single and single couples to try to find their soul mate or at least have a fun night.
Juan Luis is 62 years old and comes from Madrid. He confessed that when he was young he flirted a lot but now nothing. As soon as the bachelor entered, he showed his interest in Elsa Anka. ''Elsa has beautiful big eyes, she is a marvelous woman, I'm not going to like her,'' he declared. In love he has not had luck, not even in a marriage. I want a normal person who wants to share his illusions.
Lupe is 60 years old and comes from Madrid. ''I am a whirlwind, I am a person who needs movement, I need life,'' she confessed. He presumed to be an authentic and transparent person. ''You see me coming from afar, I'm never going to stab you in the back,'' he declared.
The first impression was not very good on the part of the maiden. ''Me when I entered and saw him, no, the hair yes, but I don't know her face... '', she said. They both coincided in having children, although Lupe's were older. ''You started very young,'' he told her.
The date began with Lupe asking Juan Luis's age. He told her that he was 62 and Lupe couldn't believe what he just heard. ''Did he pretend more?'', he would ask her. "Yes, something else threw you off," the single woman told him. Lupe told him that with her 60 years of age she looks less. ''I am a very clear person, he is a man that I see as older for me,'' she declared.
The single woman said that since she was a widow she had not had any serious relationship. Something that has surprised the bachelor who did not know very well what kind of relationship that was. Juan Luis later told her that one of her dreams is to take a caravan and travel the world. "I am a hotel woman," she assured.
The bachelor explained that his goal is to relive his 20-year-old era. Something that has horrified the single woman. ''No please!'' she would say. He also added that now with her age they need to have someone in case something happens to them. But Lupe didn't see it that way. ''I don't need to be with someone because I get older,'' she explained. ''I'm not going to put up with someone I don't like,'' she added.
Other things where they have clashed have been on the subject of animals. Juan Luis thinks that many people treat an animal better than their own child. ''The animal is going to give you unconditional love, which few rational animals know how to give,'' the single woman told him. At the end of the date it was clear to both of them that the spark had not started between the two of them, which is why in the final decision they decided not to have a second date.
