The incredible confession of a 72-year-old single on 'First Dates': ''I spent two years on a dating site and met more than 50 women''

First Dates, the daily program presented by Carlos Sobera in which dozens of singles come in search of their better half, is a safe space for those misunderstood who have had bad luck in their love life and who want to start a new path alongside a special person.

One of these people who search for love incessantly is Carmen, a 72-year-old woman who had visited Sobera in her restaurant on two occasions, but who had gone home dissatisfied: "I am a good lioness. I have come "Three times on the show and I still haven't found love. Will this be the final one or will I have to come more?" Far from feeling sad or hopeless, the woman was always eager to meet her date.

To have dinner with the 'golden bachelorette', the Cuatro program team chose Manuel, a 72-year-old retiree from Valencia who really wanted to fall in love and live a romantic relationship.

At first, the single woman did not love her companion, since she expressed that "he was missing hair," but her impression changed when she realized that Manuel was a very active man and that he loves to dance: "I wear "I've been dancing for 12 years and I've been doing it for 20 hours a week. Now I'm in the doldrums, and I still go between 8 and 10 hours a week dancing."

They both felt very comfortable from the first moment, but Carmen was shocked to discover that her date had not had any type of relationship for 14 years, even though she had actively tried to find someone to share her life with.

''For two years I was on a dating site and I met more than 50 women,'' the dancer confessed before the astonished look of the single woman. Finally, he explained that he had indeed had feelings for some people, but that he had not reciprocated.

It seems that the third time is the charm, since Carmen enjoyed the evening like never before and was very curious about the life that Manuel offered her. They both agreed on multiple plans and hobbies, so things couldn't get better.

After completing a challenge from the program and kissing, the retired couple went to the confessional and agreed that they wanted to continue getting to know each other and have a second date. ''I would love to have a second date with Carmen, and a third, and a few...', said the Valencian while the single woman smiled shyly.
