The incident that has startled Máxima from the Netherlands in full official act

The Netherlands are just a few hours away from seeing their territory covered in flowers, infected by the enthusiasm of the celebrations of the , better known as the 'Flower Parade', which brings together millions of curious people from all over the world every year.

Queen Máxima of the Netherlands wanted to be part of the preparations for the event, and traveled to the city, where the starting signal was given for the transformation of the sixteen floats that will appear in all their splendor through the streets of Sassenheim for the 76th year. Of course, surely she did not count on giving herself a little scare while walking among so many flowers, which made her and the rest of the attendees gathered there startle.

King Guillermo's wife traveled to the city to be able to admire and participate in the start of the preparations for the long-awaited parade and, as is logical, a large part of the country's media did not want to miss that great moment. Such was the congregation of reporters in space that during the tour one of them gave the monarch the scare of her life by falling backwards, with her camera and all of hers.

An incident that startled the queen, who reacted instantly and put her hands to her head, with a gesture of obvious concern when she saw the photojournalist and his huge camera lying on the floor.

Luckily for the man, the help was quick, as some of his colleagues came to his aid, as did one of the members of the queen's security team, who were covering the event.

In the end, things were scared, with the reporter himself getting up on his own feet to continue doing his job.

The event, which will be held in style next Saturday, April 22, is an act that brings together people from all corners of the country, as well as international visitors. The same happens with the beginning of the preparation of the floats, which attracts the eyes of curious people and lovers of flora everywhere.

Queen Máxima herself could not help exclaiming how good it smelled when she entered the pavilion where the floats were being prepared, with thousands of flowers that in a few hours would walk through the streets of the city. All the floats are made up of the characteristic tulips, daffodils and hyacinths of the Netherlands, which are collected a few days in advance. Once the floats are assembled, a process in which more than a thousand volunteers participate, the parade will take place, a festival of music and color that runs the 24 kilometers from the city of Noordwijk to Haarlem.

In addition to the preparation of the floats, in which the Queen had the opportunity to personally participate, she was also able to enjoy a performance by the Teylingen theater group in the company of the city's mayor, Carla Breuer.
