The harsh reproach of a single woman from 'First Dates' to her date: ''You haven't turned the page''

For a few years now, First Dates  has become the perfect place to find love. Different diners cross the doors of the most famous restaurant on the small screen every night to enjoy a unique evening. On Thursday night, viewers of the program witnessed new dates, which have left great moments to remember.

Fernando, a 65-year-old Valencian bachelor, was one of the first to set foot in the restaurant. The Valencian arrived with a very special gift for his date: an orange. ''It represents the land I come from, it is a fundamental product that is undervalued,'' he said. He considered himself a very loving and accommodating man. ''If I can make my partner happy, I am happy,'' he commented. He wanted to meet a tolerant, respectful and all-rounder woman.

His date was María José, a 65-year-old single woman from Valencia who considered herself a conceited person. She wanted to find a respectful, clean and polite person. ''I have become very demanding,'' she stressed. As soon as she arrived at the restaurant, the single woman was pleasantly surprised to discover that her date was from Valencia. ''It's a great detail,'' she said.

Shortly after, the most anticipated moment occurred: their first meeting. ''Her physical appearance has put me off,'' the single woman said. The evening began with the singles talking about their places of residence. The bachelor confessed to being from Madrid, but he had lived in Valencia since his retirement because it was an area that he had always loved. ''He has told me about his life,'' she asserted.

Furthermore, Fernando said that one of his great passions was travel. ''I'm going on an adventure, I've traveled all over England with my car,'' he explained. Something that clashed with María José's way of being, who considered herself more organized. ''I prefer to go with an organized trip, I have a lot of respect for the road,'' she said.

At one point during the evening, the singles talked about their previous relationships. Fernando revealed that his marriage ended because the relationship deteriorated over time, to the point of almost no physical contact. ''The past leaves its mark on you, its consequences,'' he pointed out. ''You have to leave the past behind, you have to try to overcome them because otherwise they will mark your entire life,'' the single woman told her.

Suddenly, María José launched a harsh reproach to her date: ''I also had my bad times, but I have turned the page. I think you haven't turned the page.'' ''I don't agree with her, but I'm not going to enter into a debate. "You don't know the person," he said.

In the final stretch of the evening, the differences between the singles were increasingly notable. And they couldn't agree on any topic, such as bulls and money. ''I don't like them at all, I'm anti-bulls. "I can't see an animal suffer," the single woman confessed. ''But without bullfights there would be no brave bull,'' replied the bachelor. Despite not agreeing, the singles confessed to respecting all types of opinions. Therefore, in the final decision there were no surprises and both were rejected because they were so different.
