The Danish press prepares to attack Genoveva Casanova

Complicated times are ahead for Genoveva Casanova. A few days ago, the Mexican businesswoman became the most wanted woman in all of Europe, after some images of her walking through Madrid with Prince Frederick of Denmark came to light. Some photographs that were not liked at all in the Nordic country, since the crown prince has been married for almost two decades to Mary Donaldson, who endured the situation as best she could after the leak of the controversial snapshots.

The former Countess of Salvatierra decided to escape the media spotlight, taking refuge in the Arbaizenea Palace, property of her ex-husband, Cayetano Martínez de Irujo, which she inherited from the Duchess of Alba. However, it seems that her peace will be short-lived, because the Danish press has been investigating and collecting all kinds of information about the Mexican for days, which it seems could soon come to light.

In the Nordic country there has been almost absolute silence for days about the alleged affair of the Danish crown prince and Genoveva Casanova, but it has an explanation, since these days two important events are being celebrated: the swearing in of the Constitution of Prince Christian, heir to the throne after his father (November 14); and the famous King's Hunt (November 16), an annual hunt in the Gribskov forests in which the royal family participates.

According to Semana magazine, the Danish media would be "angry" with the whole situation caused by Genoveva Casanova, who they "suspect" could have been responsible for the images coming to light. Since the scandal broke, the Danish Royal House has shielded itself, not allowing access to the media except on rare occasions. One of them will not be the King's Hunt, since the press is not called for the first time in 15 years.

Since the scandal broke, many journalists and tabloids have been searching for and investigating the Mexican businesswoman. According to a source told the aforementioned publication, they would already have "very delicate" information about the businesswoman in their hands that "if published, this would be talked about in Spain, Denmark and other countries."

In our country, at the moment, the topic that is being talked about the most is its non-existent economic assets, which does not explain its high standard of living.

Although efforts are being made to ensure that the image of the crown prince is not harmed, the fact that he spent the night at Genoveva Casanova's house does not leave him in a very good place.

Nor have the reactions of his wife, Princess Mary, who, although she has put on her best smile and acted normally, helped. According to Luis Pliego, director of Readings: "They are a couple that is no longer a couple, they are not a marriage."
