The eleventh edition of Masterchef has premiered this Monday on TVE's La 1 with two outstanding novelties: twice as many applicants will participate (there will be 30) and the program will have two broadcast days a week, with a shorter duration and with two unique tests instead of the usual three.
During this first gala, we have been able to meet the applicants who will give their all in the kitchens of culinary talent. Luca, an 18-year-old tiktoker, is one of the new contestants of the new edition of MasterChef.
The new Masterchef contestant became famous on social networks with the legendary Tik Tok video of "Lolalolita is caught smoking in a bar." Currently, he accumulates more than half a million followers on his social networks.
The young man has been very direct at all times and has assured that he would like to give cooking classes. However, he has made it clear that they would not be like the ones carried out by Jordi Cruz: "I want to give cooking classes with humor, not like Jordi, who is boring."
The members of the jury of the culinary talent have been very surprised to hear Luca and he himself wanted to clarify it: "I am not saying it to sink him, I am telling him to encourage him", the 18-year-old assured.
The tiktoker has not had it easy to get the white apron. His recipe for cod confit with caramelized onion and blanched asparagus and pumpkin cream texture did not convince Jordi, who gave him a negative vote: "You can also learn from no's". Luca instantly burst into tears "because the dish has not turned out as he wanted". However, Samantha and Pepe have opted for the young cook.
