The actress Lara de Miguel is very excited to remember Carmen Sevilla: "She was a grandmother for me"

Yesterday we heard the sad news of the death of Carmen Sevilla. The 92-year-old actress was one of the most beloved faces on the Spanish television scene. A woman who dazzled an entire country with her artistic skills and her personality so close to her.

And it is that the void left by the Cine de Barrio presenter has been so great that many mourn the absence of 'La novia de España' from their homes, after the son of Seville, Augusto Algueró Junior, has announced a few hours that there was going to be no public wake or tribute, so that all the people who loved her could say goodbye. A decision that has been widely discussed on social networks and in the main media.

Carmen Sevilla had an impeccable career. But since she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2009, the actress left the stage and stayed away from the media spotlight. The artist spent her last years without making any public appearance and with little information about her state of health.

Until last Sunday the news broke that she had been urgently transferred from the residence where she lived, in Aravaca, to the Fundación Jiménez Díaz University Hospital, where she died last night.

In these last hours, many television faces have wanted to say their last goodbye and dedicate some emotional words to the deceased presenter. The last to do so was the actress Lara de Miguel in the magazine Así es la vida, who has dedicated a large part of her program to paying a special tribute to 'The Bride of Spain'.

The interpreter shared many moments with Carmen Sevilla in the Telecupón program, when she was only 13 years old. She confessed emotionally about Miguel that she would have liked to say goodbye to the movie star. ''When someone has been special at a given moment in your life and you remember with so much affection,'' she confessed.

The presenter asked her who Carmen Sevilla was for her. ''It was the figure of a grandmother at the end. Realize we were very small and it was live every day from Monday to Friday and he treated us in a wonderful way. Affectionate, nice, careful and all the memories are good,'' declared the actress. ''How beautiful, how beautiful what we are doing this afternoon,'' assured Sandra Barneda.
