Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas return to the judicial war for the custody of their daughters

The truce and cordiality between Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner has ended. The Game of Thrones star's legal team has already asked a judge to "reactivate" her divorce case with her ex-husband, which will annul the temporary agreement the couple had for her two daughters.

In official court documents obtained by People, the British actress, 28, presented documents in the Miami Dade County courts in Florida (USA) through her lawyers indicating that "the reduction has come to an end and this case will be reactivated."

The turning point between them has always been the two daughters they have in common, Willa (4) and Delphine (2), about whom the couple had a consent order for their temporary transfer between the United States and the United Kingdom, in force since October 2023 to January 2024.

This court order included, among other things, mediation, which was initially successful and caused the parents to decide to take the matter private, announcing that they were going to be "excellent co-parents."

Shortly after, his wife accused him of withholding his daughters' passports so that they could not travel to the United Kingdom. Last January, the interpreter abandoned the lawsuits against her ex-husband after a judge approved the dismissal of the lawsuit, only after both signed a consent plan.

The future of his divorce therefore remains up in the air. The 34-year-old singer has not commented on his ex-wife's decision to reactivate the judicial process. It was he who requested the dissolution of the marriage in September 2023 after four years together, claiming that their relationship was "irretrievably broken."

Now, it will be the judge who decides who gets custody of the two little girls, since the former couple has not been able to reach an agreement. This will also entail a B side that the singer did not want, and that is that all presentations, including witnesses and evidence, will be public.

The former couple signed a prenuptial agreement, so the distribution of property will not be a problem.

Both Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have rebuilt their lives separately. The singer has started a relationship with the model Stormi Bree, while the actress has already been seen on several occasions with the British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, former partner of Princess Olympia of Greece.
