Santiago Segura reveals his most absurd work: "Rat, sneak, I don't know how to classify it"

Santiago Segura bids farewell to El Hormiguero this season and does so by presenting his latest, most summery film, "Vacaciones de verano". A family comedy that opens next Thursday, July 6.

It is a classic of the program. We have seen him as a guest and as a collaborator of Pablo Motos, although tonight he has shown us a facet of himself that we did not know.

Santiago Segura has said that before succeeding as an actor, screenwriter and director, he had "many jobs", but there was one in particular that was, for him, "the most absurd".

Segura worked for Seat before entering the world of cinema, but doing a very specific job: Evaluating dependents. They sent it to dealerships to feign interest in buying the latest model and they would try to sell it to them.

I took notes and did a quiz. If the man had done well "he would give him 5,000 pesetas (30 euros9", but if he did not meet the requirements "he would report the questionnaire to the company".

But, according to the actor, not everyone was excited, neither earning those extra pesetas nor the bad grade. "Even the one who gave him the 5,000 pesetas looked at me badly."
