Raquel Sánchez Silva: "In my last 'Survivors' I got pregnant, I wanted to go but they didn't let me"

Raquel Sánchez Silva has announced her return to the adventure program genre with El Conquistador, a La 1 production that she will present with Julian Iantzi. After her time at Peking Express and Survivors, Sánchez Silva enthusiastically faces this new challenge, although she admits to feeling "a little nervous and afraid."

The woman from Extremadura did not expect the call to be part of El Conquistador since, after her pregnancy during her last participation in Survivors, she had thought that "she would no longer do adventure again." She has even recounted a run-in with one of the chain's bosses: "In my last Survivors I got pregnant and I told Paolo Vasile that I wanted to go, but he told me no."

The casting of Sánchez Silva for El Conquistador has also been welcomed by audiences, as many fans expressed their excitement to see her back on screen in this type of format.

"They have always asked me to return to the adventure in one way or another and I was missing it too, the presenter confessed. Despite the challenges, the presenter feels happy with this type of programs. "Where I am happy is in programs in the air, on cliffs and with bugs," he declared.

Thus, Sánchez Silva has assured that she is ready for adventure and eager to return to the challenges of outdoor television. "She missed the adventure," she has stated.

Raquel has also revealed that 95% of her looks on the show will be by Pablo Bosch, a finalist for Masters of Sewing. "Be careful with the looks between Lieutenant O'Neil and Mad Max," the presenter joked, promising a display of unique style during the broadcast of the program.

Alongside her, television veteran Julian Iantzi will co-host the show. For Sánchez Silva, having Iantzi, who knows the format very well, is a great support: "For me it is a great peace of mind that Julian Iantzi is here, he has faced many problems and has brought everything forward", he commented.
