Pelayo and Jerónimo face a problem delivering weapons to Cavendish due to the Marquis' ban, and Pelayo finds a solution in a newspaper.
Furthermore, Manuel looks for Jana in La Promesa, Feliciano maintains his rejection of Petra, and Leonor confesses to her parents a matter more important than her cousin.
Manuel is avoided by Jana, who feels hurt by his departure at a crucial moment.
