Paul McCartney responds to a fan's message 60 years later and this is how his children react

There is no more special moment for any teenager than having an idol and having him respond to the heartfelt messages of admiration that one can leave here and there. Now we live in a time when access to public figures is easier than ever, but decades ago interacting with celebrities was rather unthinkable.

Tell that to Adrienne, a young New York girl who in the 60s was, like many others, crazy about the music of The Beatles. Of them, in addition, she was in love with Paul McCartney, to whom she did not hesitate to declare her love in a video that remained for posterity.

“If Paul McCartney listens to me, tell him that Adrienne from Brooklyn loves him with all her heart,” the then teenager told him in the video, from 60 years ago. A message that has finally reached Liverpool, which she wanted to respond to through her TikTok account.

“Adrienne, it's Paul. Listen, I've seen your video. I'm now in Brooklyn, in New York. I have finally arrived. We have a photography exhibition. Come see her,” her idol invites him.

A dream come true for Adrienne, except for one small detail: the New Yorker died 32 years ago. “Unfortunately, you will never know this video exists.”

“We think it's our grandmother,” says one of her children, who explains that they found the video on YouTube while they were fixing the television. “I remember perfectly how she told me that she didn't go to school to go see the Beatles,” says her son, before confirming that Adrienne died in 1992.

Apparently, the woman was a big fan of the group's band, and was completely crazy about Paul McCartney. “On one of her records, she had 'Adrienne and Paul' written on it, surrounded by a heart. “That's how my mother was,” her son continues to explain. “If you listen to my sisters' voices,” he tells the artist, “this is their reincarnation. Just here".

As expected, many of the users who responded to the message were very sorry that Adrienne had not arrived in time to see how her idol had finally had a moment to talk to her. Others, however, call attention to the artist for not having done it much earlier. “You ghosted him for 60 years,” says one.

There were also those who found a similarity, and that is that this is a moment that, as they say, “The Simpsons already predicted”: Who doesn't remember when Marge received Ringo Starr's response 40 years after she sent him her portrait?
